Sustainability has grown into an integral part of MAGIC Bodyfashion internally as well as externally. MAGIC Cares, by constantly improving and optimizing the use of sustainable material in our collections.

We turn our strategy into action with these goals:

Continuosly improve the product range by using eco-friendly materials.
Make the business more sustainable and give back to society.
Make it easy for customers to make the sustainable choice.

Our sustainability strategy is divided in three parts: environmental, social and economic.

As for the environmental part, we are always working on reducing the use of paper/plastic and CO2 emissions. We are constantly working on optimizing our recycling system and always keep on searching for the best environment-friendly options.

The social part is all about donations, employees program, and social movements. In our office we have implemented a volunteering program for employees, we have joined the Meatless Monday social movement and we donate to different organizations throughout the year. Did you know that 78% of the composition of the Body Hugging Bamboo products is made from sustainable, nature-friendly and green raw Tanboocel™ Bamboo fibers? And also...

Honest products

MAGIC Bodyfashion BV values honest products and does not use any endangered bamboo species. Our bamboo comes from bamboo plantations in China and can easily be reforested. To ensure good working conditions we regularly visit our producers. The Bamboo we use for our collections is not the same Bamboo the Panda bear is eating!

The process

Tanboocel™ Bamboo fibers is natural, green and eco-friendly raw material that can be degraded in the soil and mixed with other materials (e.g. cotton, hemp, silk). To make it strong, Bamboo textile is nearly always combined with other kinds of textile. This is because bamboo fibers are shorter than cotton fibers.

By combining Tanboocel™ Bamboo fibers we can make sure you have a strong product. The fibers can only be made during the viscose production process in which the Bamboo stems are made small and are chemically treated. After this the composition is pressed through nozzles, which results in a thin fiber. These thin fibers are then made into yarn and from that yarn the fabric is made.

REPREVE Luxury Slimmers Collection

Elegant and extremely comfortable to wear due to lightweight materials and a smooth finish. The Luxury Slimmers collection gives a gently yet medium control to shape the body. And also, the Luxury Slimmers collection is made of sustainable fabric by REPREVE.

REPREVE fabric

REPREVE fibers are made from 100% recycled materials, including post-consumer plastic bottles and pre-consumer waste. They are also certified and traceable.
Compared to virgin fiber, REPREVE helps to offset the use of petroleum, emitting fewer greenhouse gases and conserving water and energy in the process.

When you see this symbol on the label, remember: It's the inside, that makes a difference. REPREVE makes it sustainable. You make it happen.
